Before starting my Association Management Company, I worked for 6 years as the executive director for the Arkansas Optometric Association. I directed the day to day operation of the association, correspondence, contracts, purchasing, accounting and meeting planning. We published 6 newsletters a year as well as the convention materials and membership directory.

As a state registered lobbyist, I monitored and lobbied legislation on the state level. I worked with the National Association in monitoring federal legislation making at least one trip a year to Washington DC.

My past employment history includes sales and event administration for the two largest convention centers in the state, Little Rock and Hot Springs and hotel sales at the Excelsior and Holiday Inns. I served as the director of elections for Pulaski County (Little Rock area) for three years, managing federal elections, city elections and school elections. I supervised a staff of 3 full time persons and 80 part timers handling all of the logistics of elections.

In June, 2005, I opened BRM Association Management and Services, LLC with an office in Benton. I am managing the AR Library Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Arkansas.
